本課程為品質管理與醫療品質的應用課程，從品質概念到醫療品質；以及品質指標的發展與測量，各種績效測量系統，切入對於醫療品質的深入了解，包含病人端、醫師端、組織端以及政策端。將品質指標從內部的應用，加上風險校正、品質報告卡及論質計酬，國家報告卡、長期照護等。也包含從美國新聞與世界報導之最佳醫院最佳兒童醫院的方法學、SNQ生技醫療品質獎、EFQM歐洲品質獎等的介紹與應用現況。由所上教師與所外校外專家學者，共同授課。
This course was designed for application of quality management and quality of care including from quality concept to quality of care. Quality indicators are major focus to understand the details covering from development to measurement, as well as performance measurement systems within the scope of patient, health professionals, organizations and policy aspects. The course will introduce the internal applications to health care organizations and the external application of risk adjustment for quality indicators for hospital report cards, pay-for-performance, national report card and long-term care. In addition, basic concepts and application of the Best Hospitals and Best Children Hospitals Methodology from U.S. News and World Report, Symbol of National Quality (Safety and Quality) of Biomedical Quality Award as well as Europe Framework of Quality Management will be covered, too. The basic introduction and application for the topics above will be co-teached by lecturers and guest speakers.
